Pain relief that gets to the root of it.
Evidence-based acupuncture and neuromuscular therapy for long-term back, neck, shoulder and joint pain — from a practitioner with 20+ years treating elite athletes and everyday patients alike.
My approach to health isn't just clinical — it's personal.
After a significant injury in my twenties, I spent two decades learning how the body actually heals — working at the meeting point of Traditional Chinese Medicine and modern therapeutic science. Electro-Acupuncture applies a gentle micro-current to precise points, giving pain that feels “stuck” a targeted, evidence-based way to shift.

Acupuncture & Neuromuscular Therapy, working together
Living with ongoing pain can hold you back from the life you want. Rather than masking symptoms, acupuncture and neuromuscular therapy (NMT) work together to calm the nervous system, release physical tension, and support your body's own healing process.
What is Acupuncture?
Fine, sterile needles placed at specific points trigger the body's natural healing response — reducing inflammation, improving circulation, and calming overactive pain signals.
What is Neuromuscular Therapy?
A targeted form of manual therapy that releases chronic muscle and joint pain by working directly with soft tissue and trigger points — restoring flexibility and correcting posture.
Why Combine the Two?
Acupuncture calms the nervous system; NMT releases physical tension. Together, they offer faster, longer-lasting relief than either approach alone.

About Joseph Devlin
Joseph Devlin, ACI, is a Neuromuscular Acupuncture practitioner with over 20 years of experience in musculoskeletal health — from elite sport to everyday pain relief. His approach to health isn't just clinical, it's personal: after a serious injury in his twenties, he built his career around understanding how the body truly heals.
That search took him from the training rooms of professional sport to postgraduate study in acupuncture and neuromuscular therapy, and eventually to founding his own clinic in Bray — where he works at the meeting point of Traditional Chinese Medicine and modern therapeutic science.

A central theme of Joseph's work is the mind–body connection in treating painful neuromuscular conditions — using breathing technique during treatment to reduce discomfort and improve outcomes, meaning less pain during treatment and fewer sessions overall.
“As a physiotherapist, I am very particular about who I refer patients to. Joseph is by far one of the most knowledgeable therapists I've worked alongside — he adapts his approach precisely to the individual and always delivers a tailored treatment plan.”— Laura, Physiotherapist
